A 5.0 micron inline groundwater filter — a consumable filter element used with the Filter/Bailer Attachment (75370) for field filtration of groundwater samples.

What it is:

• A standard-size filter capsule rated at 5.0 microns pore size
• Part of the filter system — designed to attach inline between a bailer and sample container
• Removes suspended particulates ≥5.0 microns from the sample stream at the point of collection

5.0 micron in context:

• 5.0 micron is a coarser filter — removes larger suspended sediment and particulates

• For dissolved metals analysis, many protocols specify 0.45 micron filtration — 5.0 micron alone may not meet those requirements
